when you press file new

i get a box saying height/width/ resolution..

whats resolution do .. and whats the standard amount?

for sig u can use betwin 300-400 widht and 110-150 hight
standart resolution is 72 pixels/inch

resolution is very important

for print you adjust your photos at 300 dpi / ppi (dots per inch / pixels per inch) so you get nice crisp images
for web its 72 dpi / ppi
