How do you remove text from an image without harming the image behind it?

i use photoshop cs2 thanks

I used to use the blurtool and history tool but I didn't know if there was an easier way.

maybe theres a stock photo with rando text on it thats right in the way so stop jumping to conclusions fucken noob
