dont bother with gimp get bittorent and download photoshop save yourself the trouble

and atm I don't feel like investing in adobe's photoshop, since I merely know how to do anything with pictures

About 2% of people who own photoshop these days actually "invest" in it. There are more sneaky, dark, dangerous ways. That don't include the $$$$$$$$.
