Well, I am a gimp user but I really got no time to help you I know you heard it billion times but... try to read/watch some tutorials there are couple of them on youtube, in english explanation of course. And 100x more of them at many different sites by the way your signature is too big. It shouldn`t be bigger than 400x150.
