im using photoshop cs3 extended

everytime i save a file as png it is too big to be in my sig

and everytime i save a file as gif it looks ugly and even the shadows or any glow effect is looking ugly..

i cannot change the RGB colors over 256 colors

but i found something in the internet that its possible to save it as gif file with much more colors transparency effects and so on but still smaller than png files

anyone can explain me how?

Try using .jpeg

jpeg does not support transparency

and it does not support animations

Rofl. That's why you either drop shitty animations, or suffer with shitty quality.

i am even not talking about both

i am searching for someone who can help / explain me how i can save it with more than 256 RGB colors
