are you talking about how it shows the color to the side when it moves? cuz if u are then thats supose to be like that...called motion graphics

Gimp render -> flame + animation? Well, it needs a LOT more work and I don't like the idea in general. Stay away from animation in general. Not only does it look bad (yes it does), but it also makes it so that if you want to be in legal size (you are not), then the image quality goes way down. I STRONGLY STRONGLY suggest looking at and following tutorials.
