how do i get font like that so i can fill it in?

It's called a clipping mask. Pretty much whatever you have on one layer will ONLY show up in the spaces on the layer below it.

Right click on the layer you want to be masked and go to "Create Clipping Mask".

Save it as a .png or .gif.

Make sure it's transparent on photoshop though.

yea i had as trasnparent but not .gif =)

better if its png, unless u want animation
