Hi, I've had Illustrator for a while (CS2), I started trying to use it and then I gave up, I'm looking to start up again .
Does anyone have any good tutorials for learning the basics, covering the tools, how to do stuff etc.?

You won't find any basic tutorials on Illustrator, I've already scoured the internet for them

I guess people assume if you're moving to an advanced program such as Illustrator then you already know what you're doing.

You can try DA if you want, maybe you'll have better luck than I did.

I do know what I'm doing..In Photoshop , I guess that's the problem. Although they're similar, they're different programs, so I don't see how people are supposed to learn :/ (other than spending large quantities of time fooling around with it). There should be at least a couple beginner tuts imo, I'll search harder .

I agree Illustrator is a LOT difference than photoshop. They have basically the same tools, yes, but they work in completely different ways.

If you can't find anything and you really need some help, get me on msn, I'll try to help but it's pretty hard to explain without showing you.
