A c4d is a 3d image usually very abstract and will aid you in most of your signature and design creations, Use them on their own layer and toggle your effects and blending options till you get the desired effect

mostly the row of lighten.

Lineair dodge.
colordodge are most common used for those.

also screen + lighten
