help me plox^^

in every tut you can find the word "smudge this, use this to smudge"

so my problems are:

- i use a german version of cs2 and i dont really understand the tuts to 100%
- its never explained exactly since its a "basic"

can anyone help me please and tell me short what to do?^

The smudge tool as a "finger" graphic on your tool bar.

The other stuff comes up when you click on the arrow next to the brush size at the top, see where it says "Pinsel: and then a circle"?
