How do you add a border? And also, for text, are there any good font packs i should try downloading?(link plz)

Create a new layer, select all (CTRL + A) and go to edit > stroke. Add a 1px black border on the inside, that's how you do it smile.gif

ED: You could try www.dafont.com but I am sure there are more sites up there in the sticky

I followed a ll of the steps carefully..... I didn't get the transparency option though... This is what I got my first try. Man I feel so newb. The others are really cool.

I think I know what I did "wrong" I did some minor adjusting to your tut though. Hope you don't mind. I just used the differant types of gradients combined with the one you said to use. The results are in....

I think I speak on behalf of all the nnobs when I say Thanks so much. I will try diffeant parts of the filter. Not just twirl. Spherize, wave, zigzag etc. I'm also particularly fond of liquify. Btw, I tried to upload 2 of my liquify pics but I couldn't. Photobucket said upload failed... Any idea why? I saved as jpeg. Those are the only 2 I couldn't get. the others worked just fine.
