I had a bit of trouble understanding the tutorial at first, as I am very new to photoshop and sig making in general, but this helped me a ton. Once I started to understand what was going on I tweaked a few things, and for one of the first sigs I have ever done, was very happy with results (so was the person I made this for, free).

Comments and Criticism??

My first signature ever made biggrin.gif but don't go easy!

Only thing sorta bugging me is the white lines, theyre too visible or something even though I lowered the opacity on those layers... Also I added a 1px outerglow around them because they looked funny with these rough edges. In his tutorial, the lines he draws seem to taper out and sort of glow, is this my imagination, or true. I also altered the fact about using 2 colors and just used white. Thoughts?

oh, fuck im a noob

totally forgot about the settings of the smudge tool...damend.

brusi3k, try this:

and with a smudge seize of about 45 pxls (the one u made a 100pxl)

i tried with ur render, but i think the color sceme is too much grey, all same. my render has some light and some dark parts, that would be better imo.
