I tried this Tutorial.. and I came out with a shit outcome... I really like your's though. Look at my result.. It's the Cloud Strife one.

I have no idea how you did this with that brush. It was too big. :\ I tried again with a different picture. Still looks bad.

and with a smudge seize of about 45 pxls (the one u made a 100pxl)





i tried with ur render, but i think the color sceme is too much grey, all same. my render has some light and some dark parts, that would be better imo.

nice tut, i really didnt follow your tutorial,just made that brush for smudging. result:

might just get in pre-mades if i upgrade it later on ohmy.gif

this is a very old tut of mine, its not really good i know
advice on the things i have just seen, smudge on a pretty high opacity

Lol I made mine with the same technique, I never realized there was a tut about this. O.o
What I used was a splatter brush though but I didnt duplicate the layer 3 times like your did I just smudged the render on both sides of my sig
and then added a bunch of effects and gradient maps and photo filters etc theres even some clipping masks in there near the end lol
Meh either way I like the end result cus its really messy tongue.gif
