Not good outcome for me...

Honestly I hate the outcome, and the tutorial itself was poorly explained... However, it did show me a new way to make signatures which almost instantly made me 150 fg =P Can never get the background to turn out good though...

Ya I did this tut a while back when I first started, I got lost on several parts. The biggest part I had problems with was when I was going for the broken-up effect you tried to explian, I used the same brush and everything but got something completely different. But I can't complain I did learn a few new things from it

can't say i had the greatest outcome.. but i love the tut

Like the tut. I tried to follow it, I got near the end but when I apply a gradient map I lose all the color in my image. What am I doing wrong?

/e: I am assuming you're supposed to choose colors other than black / white but you didn't really mention that?

Pretty good tut. It was kind of hard to follow, and some of the steps were poorly explained (such as, which layer to select while applying effects, and especially the breaking up effect: I had to do sharpen three times to make it look anything like what you did). Apart from that though, it was good and it taught me some new things in sig-making
