I guess they're alright for starters, but you should really get more comfortable with whatever program you're using. Read tutorials to get an idea of the possibilities you have at your computer, and look at artwork you admire to get an idea of what YOU like and what YOU think looks good. Make sure you don't fall into the trap of thinking that everything you make is godly (or at least until you're at the top of JSP graphic design), because that will only lead you to stop listening to good C&C.

lmao no response.. from that guy

-.- ...so ... newayz

new sig:

O.o
im not done with the one in color lmao. black n white is fine tho ..

ok dude that second one that is black and white, assuming you just desaturated it and maybe added some lighting effects (not sure about second part), looks 100% better imo smile.gif

there are a lot of tuts all over the graphics design (= GD tongue.gif) portion of jsp to look at. I'm really just starting out too, and they really seem to help quite a bit.

and remember as a sig maker, your sig, not matter how crappy it may look, you're sig is always better than some ripper's.....or some fucking noob that imports a stock image and throws their name on it, adds a coupel of effects liek drop shadow and a border and calls it "their" sig...or a sig at all mellow.gif

again, don't worry about the water mark, unnecessary at this point, and it clutters up the image...besides do you see anyone else using watermarks? wink.gif

Why's everybody so negative? Who does that help? Who are most of you anyway? Being complete morons is no way to improve someone at gfx or the gfx section for that matter.

For the poster icon_pointr.gif You can't really tell whats going on in any of the sigs with the watermarks in place. Watermarks are supposed to visible but you should still be able to see the image its placed on. The sigs overall look very basic. I assume your a photoshop user and if so I'd definitely say read tutorials and just keep trying that. I have a friend who says he'll never use a tutorial but you really just can't improve without using tutorials so do them daily hourly etc etc one after another. Don't try to start out doing your own thing until your familiar with the basics of the program your using.

After you learn a few things then start mixing those up with your own ideas. Using tutorials will show you the way to use tools to make things perform the way you would want them to thats all.

Overall your sigs are crowded as well. Try to use just one image in a sig since their so small. That one picture is your focal point or where you want the eye to rest when someone is looking at your sig. Also your text really needs work. Try to stick with default text to start out with like New Times Roman and Aerial fonts etc. Also don't go off the wall with a font color. Use something thats already in the sig.

You guys should get off his case and try to help him get better at gfx everybody starts somewhere and bullshit comments like you guys are making are pointless. Real artists want others to improve with them.

great person.

I reccomend working on depth and blending. Most of those sigs are really plain.
