Try leaving one Rain layer as is, But move the second one down just a little bit, and the third (if you used 3) even lower. Should look like this:

For text Dont go for the flashiest, Most Eye-catching font. Keep it plain and simple. Myself, I'm not that great when it comes to fonts, I just experiment with different setting and keep it at what I like.
