Its all good. But, i cant save as .gif file.. only let me save a .psd so it dosent work... NVM

I click save as not save as not saved optamize as.

Very nice tut, I was able to replicate it in one try, nice job.

This definately does not work for 9.0. It won't let me save opacity to 0%. Must be at least 1%. I set it for 1 and set the rest as you had them but they all reverted to 1% like the first one. I folloowed the time lines ( 0.2 sec/ .5 sec etc) and in the animation window ( for preview) it worked but when I saved it it came out non animated. Yes I saved as saved optimized as and yes I saved as .gif. Still nothing. This tut was kinda difficult to follow. A couple errors that kinda threw me off. The biggest one being "step2"copy frame in animation window.Then hit tween and enter 7. That gives 9 frames not 7 like shown. And the opacity part. The biggest problem I had ( and I'm sure a lot of other newbs like myself) was that only the basic info was given. Not detailed enough. Perhaps it was for the version he was using but not 9.0. Update maybe? This is what I got after several tries. I had to be sure it wasn't an error on my part ( although it could still be and I just don't realise it) before I posted this. I really wanted it to work too.

more than a year and still waiting on those other tuts, you had both summers so what happened dude..?

for some reason i dont have an animation window.. im noob on photoshop and i dont know where to get it

how do i host in sig again mine without animation doesnt work so a steb by step would help tnx.

@xoazues - For opacity 0% just click the visability of the layer to "off" ( the little eyeball) ie as in so you cant see it

This tut is helpful
An alternative is to try this:
Duplicate firsts frame once witht the text layer marked as invisisble (no eyeball)

on the new frame turn the visabilty of the text layer to "on" (with eyeball) with opacity of 100%

hit the "tween" button (located on the animation menu

Select 5 frames to simulate this tut exactly or more frames for a smoother (but larger file size) animation.

to fade it simply duplicate the last frame

set the text layer back to invisible and hit the tween button again using the same settings you used the first time.

For some reason I cannot save it as a gif in ImageReady =\ When I press Save Optimized As and so on and so on, after that I get a warning saying It JPEG, PNG, and such cannot handle animated things and it will only be saved on that frame, any ideas and btw, great guide, easy to understand =]

Awesome I can use this on any image correct? Like if I had a sig and used this to add text on it?
