This is 100% mine, please give me a moment to explain.

Please realize, the only reason for the mishap with Melodude's stuff is because I'm new to this whole Gfx thing and it honestly didn't even cross my mind that there are some pictures you can't use in creating a graphic because it's owned by someone else. I promise you it won't happen again now that I know this.

But these paintings are mine. If you notice the signatures, they all bear my last name, "Hew". My real name is Alvin Hew.

My other alias is "garygill", and that is my username on deviantArt. "garygill" is an acronym whose meaning is explained on my dA page. You can also check out my site: www.alvinhew.com. On there you will find links to a bunch of other sites I post on.

As an illustrator I've never had to worry about which art I could use and which art I couldn't use because I painted everything from scratch. This is why it never crossed my mind that when I create graphics using other images, there are just some I'm not allowed to use.

Again, now that I know this, it won't happen again. I'm really very sorry for the misunderstanding.

Unless I can see proof of this is any way other then your jsp name happening to be the same as the paintings. Also I am not understanding why you don't just paint sigs as they are worth much more. Lastly as there is 100's of each one of your paintings on google images I feel my first statement is warranted.

I am more than happy to prove these are mine. This is the first time in my life I've been accused of art theft though, and I'm not exactly sure how I can prove these are mine short of showing you my original Photoshop files. But they are huge. Is there are quick way that I can do this?

EDIT: Oh, and I'd be more than happy to paint sigs. In fact, I just realized that if someone wants to commission me for a painted sig right now, that's a good way to prove that I'm me.

Ah, good idea! Here's a painting I'm actually working on right now:



As you can see, I paint with very few layers. Actually, by the time this is done, it'll probably be only 3 layers. I hope you don't find this suspicious, because that is honestly my style of painting.

But I have absolutely no problem showing you more proof if you want. Obviously it'll just be a matter of time until you're convinced because I am in fact Alvin Hew.

Hey man if it is you then all the power to yah, if not you do have good taste in art .

But I do think it is you and you got mad talent if it is.

But stop making sigs like you are and just paint them for people worth a hell of a lot more fg and it is where your talents lie.

Thank you. Again, I'm so sorry for the accident. I'm honestly so embarrassed that it didn't occur to me that what I was doing was wrong until just 10 minutes ago.

And yeah, I'm honestly cool with painting sigs, just show me how to go about getting people who want painted sigs.

But more importantly, I really am interested in broadening my horizons into Gfx. This is why I'm posting here in the first place. With enough practice I know I can get good at Gfx too. I only ask for your patience because when I say I'm new to Gfx, I really do mean new. I've been painting since I was a kid, but I've never seriously pursued Gfx until literally two days ago.
