0% = same thing, but you could add layer properties like inner glow etc.

-to color things like a render, brush over with a color you choose > set on color

More philosophical tips than technique tips, but ne ways:

Do
Work on it until YOU think it looks good
See what other people think
Make sigs cuz you want to, not cause your diso fg
Take your time, it will show when you're done
Learn explore and expirment with ideas
Try to get an idea of what you want it to look like before you start
Have fun

Don't
Follow anything in a step by step fashion; this is art, not an assembly line
Go too heavy with effects, often the simplest of sigs are most appealing

too tired to think of more donts
