Technically the average ranking systems go: Novice/Moderate/Intermediate/Professional
This would indeed be novice (no not novice/moderate) and would be helpful to "noobies". Noobies as in "newjacks" but aswell people who aren't very good with photoshop and are still learning. There have been plenty of examples of people using photoshop for years and still being "noobies". Get over it, this isn't your gaming section where noobie is the worst insult in your vocabulary. In graphics when somebody calls somebody a noobie while helping them, it's not an insult. Graphics isn't really a competition. (this is an exception for some people of course)
*A way to improve the tutorial would be to maybe link the brushes you used, and explain how to change settings. Explain how you did the bubble stuff and such, so they can get ideas on how to do similar stuff themselves.
I get what you mean about the noobie thing being this is Gfx. This tut is for people who already know their brushes a bit, and already have a little understanding of how to do stuff on their own a bit.Quote (McNulty @ Wed, Aug 13 2008, 08:02pm)
A very basic but nice outcome with this tut.
