Mine doesnt look atall like yours when i try to do the outline of the c4d thing sad.gif
and when i erase parts it erases parts of the c4d too

When you click on the C4D thumbnail a "dotted" line should pop up on your sig which would be the outline of the C4d. Sounds like your stroking it on the same layer as the C4D is on. You have to make a new layer and then go Edit> Stroke 1px and click Inside in the middle tabs there. That way you can move the stroke around and erase parts of it. Also I stroked the render as well I forgot to add that. You can see her hand towards the bottom holding the cigarette :S

Thanks to everybody else glad it helped. Makes me want to do more since all my other tuts were fail sauce getting like two replies max lol.

One thing that I figured out is that you have to use rendered c4d's.

I was sitting there for like, 10 minutes trying to figure out why my c4d with a black background wasn't stroking... Lol.

I thought all c4d's were rendered ohmy.gif
also i dont have some of the gradient maps you used
do you have to download em?
