Hey Importune thanks for stopping by, my gfx card is an 8800GT which supports both duel screens and res up to 2800 x 1800 ( its like 4000000 pixils or something) and my screens combined are only 2800 x 1050

I have the "extend monitor to this screen" option ticked. maybe there is another option

@arcane: if I do this it shinks the image and displays it on both screens

Did you try that ultramon software?

It looks like its a vista problem, the card options deffinately allow for it

I use ultramon as Mike said.

It works wonders and has many other features too. For example, I can run two different screensavers on each monitor. It's terribly slow on my other monitor, but it works.
