the glow is just a layer that has inner glow then outer glow as well id think, then its opacity is flowing from 20-40-60-80-100 then zero again, or something to that effect
Why do you still need? He just said it....
He just took 2 screen shots, brushed a yellowish/goldish color around the bo. Then he takes his screen shot #2 and sticks it in sig and crops it. Adds a pen tool line on a new layer down the middle of it but behind it so it doesn't show. Then he frames it with more lines (as shown) and adds outer and inner glow with a yellow - transparent gradient in layer effects. For animation, he just goes into animation window, makes one frame with no glow on bo, makes another with outer glow applied on the goldish color around bo, and then tweens animation. Then he repeats and sets frames to different delay times to create the "beat". All done. 2 mins.
