Before reading this tutorial, here are a couple things I highly recommend first:

All you need to know about sig design:

http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=50972641&f=105&o=0 - Author - DB_odin@D2jsp.org

Pentool:

RESOURCES:

*Note: I could not for the life of me find the original C4D image that I used. The one provided is different, but should work just fine for this tut.

Just trying to help out by posting a tutorial. I used a couple techniques in this sig and thought it might be useful for someone new to play around with or w/e. I personally have loved the tutorials produced by this website so far, but have been wishing to have more available. Inspired by "ease.", who I think had a great idea of a tutorial competition, but not enough people could put the time in.

Hey, doesnt look half bad! With the "dust" , something I forgot to mention is you only want like one or two @ 5-7 px orbs, and you wanna spam the 1 px brush as random as possible along the C4D. If you add too many large orbs, it starts to look goofy.

I really like the texture you chose for the background, and I think you did great on the C4D Liquify. :)

Yea, you definitely should check out the links at the top of this thread. I practiced the pentool until my fingers bled when I found those ^^

Yea, much better. Alot of it has to do with the flow. In the batman sig, their was no flow, and very little lighting. You improved flow, lighting, and "dust" orbs on this one. Overall its better, gj :) .

i dont think of blue when i think of robin :/
but this is def an improvement
when doing the orbs try placing them in at least a semi-similar direction together, otherwise it looks random and chaotic
also use solid colors, the dots look kinda grayish / low opacity atm, and outer glow often looks cheesy on them
