XxSuMoxX - Maybe you havent even opened the brush setting window ? O_o .. should be locate on the top right somewhere

Here's what's happening. I can make a new brush and use the scattering option with no problem(With Brush tool selected). But when I switch to the smudge tool, the Scattering optiojn is greyed out.

reinstall ps will help

ye prolly a preference thing.. I cant make simulated pressure pentooling .. but im to lazy to reinstall

Don't re-install photoshop, you can reset the photoshop preferences by holding Ctrl+Alt+Shift, then open photoshop and dont let go of Ctrl+Alt+Shit until it has finished loading, it'll then ask you if you want to delete the photoshop settings file, do that and it'll reset everything.

Same thing should fix you're problem too Mag1z.
