Wow thank you so much for doing this. Don't think this went to waste, I learned so much from this. I'm good at photo shop but have never done sigs before. It's very good and thank you so much, if you ever need anything you think I can help with let me know .


I will try this and post. I'm confused on step 4 and 5. What are C4D's can you expand on this and how to do that part? Also, what do you mean smudge the renders. Create 5 different layers, click smudge tool on 100% and just smudge it a bunch and make it a mess? and then set those settings? I'm just confused on those parts...

Just google it, or search it on any graphic site, C4D's are basically these 3D things made in Cinema 4D, used for effects in signatures (everyone uses them but yea.. they overuse them or they dont use anything else.. cus they're noobs)

Anyways yea just drop me a pm if you have any questions.

For the smudging I used the same smudging settings as the background I think..
If not I probably used a splatter brush.

Just use a brush/setting of your choice that you think looks good for the render you chose yourself.

Hey thanks, I just made my first sig and posted it in the smudge tutorial thread. It came out alright.. So smudging is just where you add a little messiness theme to the picture? Before all this, when I though of smudging I thought of default settings of the smudge tool, where it just kind of drags stuff. Thanks for your help!! I'm going to try your tutorial next after I get some dinner and work on college apps some more.

I believe it comes with photoshop. Chalk Brush.

Yeah unfortunately when I was a retard I was messing with things on Photoshop and accidently loaded brushes over my original ones, so i dont have the original brushes

Just go to where you switch your brush set and then click Reset Brushes and it reverts back to the default ones.
