when i am making sigs, particularly avas and resizing pics, it just freaks out and i have to restart eVERYTHING.
what should i do? reset my comp?

this happens to me ALL THE TIME
especially when resizing pics, or opening something new etc...
i have found that if you save frequently it doesn't happen... almost like a way of god telling you to constantly save your shit

Saving a file can clear your cache which frees up a ton of memory. Every undo (or step backwards) that photoshop has is using memory and cache space.

Upgrading your ram/disk space (and allotting more space to the cache) can help ease this freezing up issue, usually.
