how do i bring a render onto a signature im making.
i use photoshop.
i saved a render to my computer from planetrenders.net
then i hit "place" on photo shop.
but then a box came up saying
"Could not place the document because the file-format module cannot parse the file."
i have no idea wat that means. haha
any1 know wat i need to do?

Open the render in photoshop
Select the move tool (hotkey is v)
Drag it over to the document you want it on

when i hit open the same box comes up....

File > Open ?

yes. even that. do u think its because of the website i took the render from?

What type of file is it?

where is says "files of type" it says "all formats"
does it need to b changed to "JPEG" ?

I'm thinking it is that someone saved it as a certain type of file and then renamed it a different file.
Like saving a .png but putting .jpeg at the end or w/e.
And tell me the file format of that specific render.

how can u tell wat the file format of the render is?

You can either just hover your mouse pointer over it for a second and it will come up with a tool tip of "Type: ___"
or
You can right click the file > Properties.
