Photoshop is the best. A free alternative is GIMP (Gnu Image Manipulation Program). Just google gimp and a download is on the first page I believe

Im using cs2 but i guess cs3 is better since it came out afte huh.gif

No version of photoshop is free for more than 30 days. You can download the trial for certain versions of photoshop at www.adobe.com
The best version of photoshop (I'm proud to say I use tongue.gif) Is photoshop CS3 Extended which costs roughly $600 now I think.
If you don't feel like spending well into the hundreds for an image program, get GIMP, which, although lower quality, has most of the necessary features.
