Just like it says. A 30 day trial. By then you should be able to tell if you want to buy it or not.

I don't really want to spend 200$ on anything, so it's 30 days only?

Anything cheaper around?

Skimmed, and is gimp a thing like photoshop. or is it a place to buy photoshop??

Gimp = crappier free version of photoshop.

Well, if you start out using it then no. Anyone who's new is gonna make crap no matter program they're in.
