Hate to see it. Remember watching the fight vs Forrest on tv. Really got the ufc on the mainstream map and recognized as a sport. Rest easy

My top memories of Bonnar were pretty much always of him catching entertaining beatings, ie. early Jones, A. Silva, etc.

I met him twice in Boston and Vegas. Nice guy. Dude had a lot of demons the past few years. The DUI on I-15 just North of Vegas. Passed out in his car. His house burning down. If I remember he was teaching karate or BJJ to kids and was in the background of KTNV news segment.

Seemed like a real good guy just couldn't keep it together. RIP

Clearly you didn't follow him. He had a series of substance abuse. That DUI he also fought with the police.

Sounds like the worst person on the face of the planet. It’s called life a hall a famer of the sport, and tons of people respected the man.
