I respectfully disagree with some of your points, but see where you're coming from. If Muslim wins, I don't think this affects China's prospering MMA scene. Find me a group of people who are intrigued by MMA and would be swayed by a TMA fighter winning an MMA fight. I just don't think you'll find many that think that way. I think the old TMA vs MMA debate is something that is held on to by an older generation, and some believe that this can still influence MMA's potential globally. Time has shown that MMA is what intrigues newer generations; BUT older generations (e.g. parents) can still influence where the newer generation intially start out. Either way the fight goes, it won't deter China's growth in MMA.

Excited for the fight though too! I think Muslim takes it if he can avoid being taken down by Li.

Its San shou = modern wu shu

San shou is mma; but only standing/ the San shou throws has a rule where u can't fall on the ground,

That's why I was so proud of weilei for upgrading to Olympic style wrestling

Weilei messed around with Chinese wrestling, but Chinese wrestling doesn't allow u to land on the floor either, u have to stay standing cuz it was designed for war, n u didn't wanna be on the floor during a war

This is mma Vs San shou or San da or modern wu shu, whatever u wanna call it, but it mixed all the striking arts and added throws,
I credit cung le for bringing top tier San shou to mma,
I watched a video saying cung le brought Tae Kwan do to mma,
Totally disregarding San shou,
I litteraly first heard of San shou from cung le, so I went down the rabbit hole,

Most likely the upcoming Chinese ufc fighters will come from San shou,
