Would of won last night?


Hard to say, cuz glover has gotten better, but slower n his body isn't as strong anymore, but we saw th3 skills, he almost won
( younger glover did lose to Gustafson and the black ko superman guy)

But a huge difference between them two

Glover was trying to win a sport fight

Jiri was trying to finish him the whole fight, he never looked worried that he was losing rounds to glovers take downs, he always went n damaged glover any chance he got,

Jiri is a killer; not a combat sport fighter

For example end of round 1 even though jiri lost that round, he did land some nice ground and pound in the last 10 seconds

Big up to glover for being able to hang n beat some of the new generation guys, Jones still seems superior though,

Jiri is fun but he did almost lose to a 43 year old

I think old man glover would've won if he just stayed in mount
Glovers a killer as well he just chokes you unconscious, jungle rules that's death.

The current Glover is prime Glover imo. Yes he's slower but way more experienced.

I don't think we're remotely close to prime Jiri yet, the guy gets hit a ton still - reminds me of when Jon Jones first arrived on the scene.

Yeah, this is Prime Glover. His style is so nasty and dominates people or wills them out of fights. He had to finish Jiri, as Jiri was always trying to finish him.. Both men left it all in that cage.

Jiri does get hit too much, but how Glover managed to take all those shots, especially with his suspect chin was something to behold. CSO.

The fight ending the way it did... Legendary. All time classic.

Late bloomer

Charles is a late bloomer too, but he's still young enuf to hang with any1 atm

.I think Charles's would beat this retired khabib,
.khabib would have to seriously get back into shape to win

Khabib is about 205 pounds right now; he's definitely in retirement mode

I se3 u guys points , glov3r is now kicking ass cuz he's a complete fight3r mixing good boxing and good ground game

Glover is the only 205 pounder I can think of who has a BJJ black belt,

205 men are usually too big to care about BJJ, they rather be wrestlers


Jiri is fun to watch even though he's a high risk fighter n probabaly will drop that belt,

But can't count him out, he would of lost in 30 seconds via decision, but he didn't care, he just wanted to finish n he did it,

N dam I wish I bet jiri to win by submission +1600 odds

Always the unexpected thing happens,
Like Francis winning by wrestling , was paying about +1900 or +2000, for Francis to win by decision,

Cuz of alll us thinking we know it all, especially chael sonnen ( I like him; but sometimes he's kinda delusional n so off th3 point)

He acted like connnor found magic , or created fire,
Cuz connor could land straight punches without a jab


But other fighters can do it tooo, just with the right hand,

Weileis b3st punch is h3r straight right hand
She used it to beat Joanna in the first fight, n landed it in the 2nd fight too

From my experience, throwing the straight right hand or straight left , is better then throwing a jab sometimes, cuz people are expecting a jab,

Bernard hopkins said the same thing n taught that to Rashad evans;

One of my favorite simple combos, that lands n is goood,
Is straight right hand, left hook; straight right hand

When a guy knows ur gonna jab, he can over hand right count3r you; that's why in mma , we see alot less jabs then boxing,

Also jabbing in mma can get u taken down, and kicks are longer th3n jabs, a knee cap kick or side kick, beats the jab in reach

U couldn't jab Jon Jones when he kicked ur knee out

I think it was glover vs Phil Davis

When glover tried the same guillotine 10 times lol

It's a move , he actually should stop doing, the announcers said that was a huge mistake in round 5 against jiri

N it reminded me of a younger glover
