Idk how many here are into grappling, but I went to CFFC's Fury Pro Grappling last night in Philly, it was their third event since introducing Fury Pro Grappling and they went BIG with a stacked card that consisted of some of the best and most well known UFC fighters and some of the best grapplers in the world. The UFC paid the fighters to show so they're obviously pushing this to help promote UFC Fight Pass.

Main event was originally supposed to be Rose Namajunas vs Danielle Kelly, but Rose got Covid so she was replaced with Carla Esparza.

Sean Brady beating one of the best grapplers in the world in Craig Jones was pretty cool. Jones was a -1800 favorite and Brady was +800.

Cerrone got manhandled and choked out in like 30 seconds lol

Yo I saw brady won that. I didn't realize he was such a huge dog in that matchup. Nice win for him. I think I saw he was wanting to fight stephen thompson next which is a smart decision. I already thought wonderboy was one of the better opponents next for brady. But considering what belal just did to him, it might be best case scenario to get that fight now.

Leg locks weren't allowed, of any sort (no heel hook, etc) which is a rule the UFC has in place to protect their guys. So Craig Jones was limited out there...

If leg entanglements were legal, i'm sure this would have gone the other way. The no leg lock rule sort of took away the legitimacy of the win, but whatever it was still entertaining.

Yeah man they really stepped up with the card on this third event. I know a few of people who were on the first one, and they had no shot of being on this one with how big the names were lol. This one was a big UFC push with some of the best grapplers out there mixed in.

My buddy who fights through CFFC (2-1 professional record out of Renzo Gracie Philly) and has really good Jiu-Jitsu was offered a spot on this card last minute to go against Josh Emmett (#6 Welterweight in the UFC). It fell through unfortunately because they had too many on the card already, but he should be able to get on the next one.

You ever check out CFFC fights? A couple of my boys are on the card on the 29th, you should check it out it's at 2300 Arena.
