This is smart from Jones in some ways; he was nothing to gain from more wins at LHW, and definitely does not want to risk losing to Reyes (arguably again).

He can now sit on the sidelines until the money fight with Izzy or Ngannou happens, or a Boxing bout with a big name.



Dana definitely will not care if Jones vacates his title.

i dont know why they didnt make the hw fight happen. hes cleared out that division time to move on. hes easily the all time goat.
