My answer is a bit split.

I prefer the tournament style of k1/bellator

I prefer the sheer number of high quality fighters in the ufc

If we could go cross platform, and see who the real best fighters in-the-world are.

That's what i would ultimately prefer.

I can agree with this. If ufc's drug tests are used to ensure all are clean, would be fucking awesome!!!

Douglas Lima has already shown interest in fighting Usman claiming he could take him.

I'm all for a once a year or once every 2 year cross promotional tournament where the top 3-5 (or something like that) get to compete vs each other.

Lke a DBZ martial arts tournament.

World martial arts tournament.

No reason for champions to strive for greatness outside of defending belts vs dudes they've already fought :/

Even if they were non title fights, but champs only. But then the concern is the time it will take to recover after a beatdown. Eirher way I do agree it would be good for the sport. Would love to see Jon Jones get beat up. He is always crying on twitter lol

there is no such thing as a boring fight with BKFC, there's more than a good chance a UFC main event will be boring. dont get me started about any other fight on the card

Haha yeah. I like the rawness of bkfc. I don't like the no contest fights in ufc/bellator. Or when two fighters are too timid to engage. There have been a number of shitty fights on both ufc/bellator.

I kinda like the K1 max style where "tough shit" you just gotta fight your next opponent.

In the one hand i wanna see 2 beasts go at it "full strength" but at the same time i don't want to see fighters only ever cherry pick opponents.

Something like blind picking opponents rather than ranked based would be nice.

Could have the tournament over a few days weeks or months like in bellator.

standing in the tournament don't affect your standings in your respected sport

Obvioulsy scheduling would be an issue, sort-of, ranks 5-10 should be fighting more anyways.


Last point to add.

Would be nice to see a fighter not be able to train specifically for one opponent.

Blind pick/random opponent means training camps are less long and less specialized.

I also love the tournament style. I wish UFC incorporated some of them into the system

Ufc started off like a tournament style, but left that and just went to rankings per weight class. Now you gotta climb the ranks to get the challenge at title. I suppose they do that with ultimate fighter of sorts (from what I have seen, not very much) but i am pretty sure that is more a ranking appose to tournament.
