had a terrible night of reffing last weekend...

3 things I saw:

1) Robbie lawler fight, questionable stoppage, but not too terrible. Could see where lawler was upset but seemed to go out for a sec from herbs angle.

2) Johnny walker fight. That was a late stoppage imo… That dude got blasted by one of the nastiest flying knees you will see and instantly went down. Russian dude is tough fighter but he was obviously done. but herb let him get beat on more even tho he was just covering up. It was a late stoppage.

3) Jone bone fight. Regardless of the beating he put on the other guy; like mid way thru the 2nd or 3rd round (I think it was 3rd) when the fight was still not decided, jones has his hand all the way out with his fingers clearly extended... Herb is standing right there and doesn't even yell at bones to watch his fingers... even with his extensive history of eye pokes... didn't even say anything. was just waiting for the eye poke to see if he would take a point... but then at least he took point for knee to head later...



Just a really bad night of reffing for herb, who is usually one of the best.
