I know some of you fuckers Thai box, so how do you keep your shin pads from smelling like the Devil's asshole after Indian food? I honestly didn't even know my legs could sweat that much

I've tried some meister glove deodorizer things and some shoe/bag deodorizer type shit and it's not helping at all. I can't leave them out in the sun because it's 20 fucking degrees outside.

Honestly I just sprayed mine with whatever Lysol spray/ wipes the gym had laying around and hoped for the best. And I'd leave them out after sparring for as long as possible before putting them in my bag when I had to go, then when I got home I'd just take them out and put them on top of my bag(sweaty side up) until it was time to go back to gym. And I'd just throw em back in.

My first pair smelled like pure devilslayer ass, I didn't give a fuck about them and had to duct tape them back together a few times. They became some nasty beaters. But my second pair were more expensive n I fended off the stank for a while. After a while it's kinda inevitable I think. But I think being in the gym bag while wet is where the bacteria thrives.

These have the sleeve on the back instead of straps and I think that makes it even worse. I've been thinking about a hair drier to get it hot in there but I don't want to set them on fire lol

Never leave them in gym bag
After training, dry them with dry cloth, then use hair dryer on "high cool" setting as excess heat can damage the leather.

Storing them with chunks of cedar will absorb excess sweat and believe it or not gives them a fresh smell

I know everyone does what xao does with leaving dry stuff in there to absorb the moisture, but with my gloves i'd just wipe everyone else's sweat off the outside, wipe the inside, and leave one of the wipes on the inside every once in a while. Let that antibacteria shit marinate in there with the bacteria + embeds the clean smell, and i'd just leave them outside of my bag like the shin guards. The wipe dries out quickly anyways so the next morning i'd just pull out a dry paper. If nothing else works maybe try that.

I just get the out of a gym bag as soon as i get home...there nothing else to it really, my gloves and shins never smelled bad ( i have always owned Top King gear, idk if that makes any difference, i guess if you have some shitty brand made out of crap maetrial they will probably wont dry as quick and smell bad? idk tho)
