Just as a base, let's use The Ring's current rankings: https://www.ringtv.com/ratings/

Keeping in mind that Ward says he's retired and that at the bottom, there's plenty of room for tinkering, I want to know if anyone actually has GGG as the #1 guy. I'm a big fan of his, even though he seems to be declining.

I have it (top 4):

Crawford
Rigondeaux (best defensive boxer, surprising power, no losses but unfortunately untested ... until December)
Golovkin (b/c he hasn't lost and he got robbed in his draw, even though he's declining)
Lomachenko (great technical boxer, very strong)

Anthony Joshua doesn't get a nod just because "pound for pound" usually favours smaller fighter--hence the title. Ward doesn't get a nod because he declared his retirement.

How do you guys see the top 4-5?

The bottom end is usually fashion. If someone is on a streak, you'll see him there.
The top is also fashion tbh. It tends to promote guys who get in big money fight, and then some small guys to make the list seem legit.

If Rigondeaux wins in December, I wouldn't object to someone saying he's the best p4p fighter in the world. But Crawford has a much better professional resume. Rigondeaux would be a 3 time Olympic gold medalist if Cuba hadn't fked him over.

2-GGG
3-Canelo
4-Crawford

6-Eleider Alvarez

I think these p4p lists are a joke. Big guys left off? The baddest men on the planet.

P4p should mean, whoever steps in front of them. I could beat these 125lb fighters in a fist fight. Size and power matters in ALL of life. To pretend Anthony Joshua isn't the #1 fighter on the planet is delusional

I think you misunderstand the concept of P4P
