Can someone help me understand what's going on in the HW division? Why didn't Dana just strip Jones of the title?? What is the point in the interim belt if Tom and Jones aren't even going to fight next? I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the thought process right now..

Dana has confirmed multiple times that Stipe is next for bones, so the division is just going to have two belts now? Jones and Stipe will both probably retire anyways, I don't see either of them sticking around to defend the belt.. so why does Jon have it in the first place?

Until Jones defends against Stipe and can literally claim he is better than DC at everything, he isn't dropping that belt. IMO.

Because the greatest hw of all times and the greatest MMA fighter of all times wanted to fight, they set it up and this happened. You give them 2 what the want and you give the fans what they want.
