Hmm while I don't necessarily think this will be a bad fight, I do think its interesting that we are also getting Sandhagen (who beat Vera) vs Nurmagomedov (outside of the top 10). I think Vera in a three round fight is probably going to be overwhelmed by Cejudo's pressure/wrestling.

To me the two fights that made more sense would have been Cejudo vs Sandhagen (to determine who gets the next shot against the winner of O'Malley vs Sterling)

and

Nurmagomedov vs Vera (to see who is 1 big win away from the next shot).

Nurmagomedov is the future.

tbh anything with Cejudo doesn't interest me that much, his fight against Aljo was embarrassing for him after all his smack talk
