Most UFC contracts can be broken by the UFC if the fighter lost his last fight, which is fucked up.

The only reason Mark Hunt is still in the UFC is because they inherited his PRIDE FC contract, which didn't allow them to cut him until the contract ran out. He had to take them to court to make them honor it, heh, they wanted to buy him out. I don't blame them, he was doing rly bad at the time. Probably the greatest mma career comeback story ever, especially if he ends up getting a title shot
