Not a chance they had him go over Reigns to lose to Rollins. As good as Seth is, he's just not in Balor's league.
He's great on the mic, just because he has an accent doesn't mean he isn't good.
Speaking of Reigns...surprised but happy they're FINALLY using him in the midcard, where he should have started in the first damn place. Rusev/Reigns could be really well done if done right
Also enjoyed the security and Raw talent coming out because of Orton (Smackdown) being there, makes it feel like Smackdown Vs Raw again
But on the negative they said the rosters would stay separated and it only took two weeks to go back on their word.
Maybe as the demon he can win or something but Imo why he beat reigns and stuff its just so we can have a different main event and push him as a "main eventer" later and look strong now, he doesnt have to win the belt at this exact ppv.
Rollins was #1 draft pick and clearly invested in him past 2 years to be the guy even tho reigns was....he always had more tv time than reigns.
Wouldnt make sense to have #2 draft pick to beat #1 lol
and even tho its a new era, rollins is part of the new era, all shield members are...vince is high on rollins too I can see him to want to put the belt asap back on him.
Not saying balor cant win...I'd say its like 65-35% for rollins but thats my opinion.
I always liked reigns, I just dont like him as a smily guy face who was pushed down our throat as the main guy but if hes a badass with the long beard and fighting people in the mid card or even for the belt with strong opponents as long as hes not a face I dont mind
Reigns is good in the ring, just sucks as a face on the mic.
as far as the brand split, this is obviously just an exception for this feud, orton "broke" the rules by appearing on RAW without permission
so obviously they aren't really breaking the draft rules, orton broke the rules, not the WWE itself
