1) conor wanted to fight a non grappler at 170
2) conor was offered Carlos Prates at 170
3) Prates beat the living crap outta ex champ JDM
4) conor had a change of heart, he wanted to switch opponents. he wanted someone like prates but with less power and high profile
5) holloway was the perfect opponent

too bad his acl tore. I really think its because his muscular development outstripped his tendon/ ligament growth.
he needs to get some prolo and glucosamine and heal that crap up. should be good in about a year.
