Some of you guys questioned my thinking that racisim is involved in the hate towards JBJ... well theres some media swarming the idea now.

I do believe the hate to be more revolving around jellyness

Or maybe the guy is a fucking retard... And people dont like fake people.... Who gives a shit what color he is?

I still havnt met someone who thinks he isnt a fucking stud, but they still hate him because hes a liar that faked almost everything about himself.

maybe troll hates him because he's racist, but i dont think his race has much to do with the 'hate' for him. it has more to do with haters finding any reason. They hated him for not having a personality. Then he shows some personality by shit talking just like his opponents. Then he is hated for being disrespectful. Those same fans have sonnens nuts in their fucking mouth on his every word, yet think its unbearable if JBJ does it. Call him fake, when 99% of fighters are fake with the camera and mic in their face. It's blind reasoning

srs tho, ofcourse some people hate him because he's black... That's what being racist is :blink: what do people think no racists watch mma?

My buddy owns a few bars in Vancouver and some of them show ufc ppvs. When Rampage stopped Chuck he said that all the affliction-shirt-wearing trailer park mullet people went crazy. I mean people are going to be upset when they're drunk and their fighter loses but if you get violently angry when a black guy beats your white fighter there's probably atleast a bit of racism involved.

That said, it's not like it's the only reason people dislike Jon Jones. Guy pokes everyone in the eyes and admitted, proudly, that he was the kid who snitched on everyone else for smoking weed in highschool, which is obviously going to get some jimmies in a twist heh.

Ive yet to see him being fake, to make it a fair argument youd have to know him personally to even suggest it.

All skin colours are naturally targeted for racism, it's ingrained in the human mind to dislike people who are different, because for the first 199,000 years of humans existence(longer if you go back to proto-human racism, which also definitely existed) that's what kept us alive.

Same reason we, as a species, are still afraid of the dark even when we know there's nothing there.

Yeah, you're right saying that he was a snitch in highschool instead of saying nothing about it at all was a great PR move. Genius

An old marketing adage is "They only know what they're told." No PR guy in the world would advise you to volunteer information that is going to polarize your fan base one way or another.

It started when he talked about all his faith in god and his love for his wife... then drunken crash followed by him cheating on her and shit. Called him fake for shit like that.
Now hes a totally different person.

But I dont give a shit about any of that. I watch MMA for the sport. Not the fighters backstory and life.
