I disagree, Dom does have a pattern especially on cage escapes, Vera's coach told him to throw that way as well.

Did you listen to any of the commentating? They were literally saying you just gotta fire something on Cruz because of his he moves.

Yes and they are right, but that doesn't mean he threw the finishing kick randomly. He started throwing more near the end of the 2nd round and at the beginning of the 3rd round because he knew he would have to get Dom backing up more then time his escape.

Not sure if sarcastic but he literally got him to escape to his right (with a small right hook) and knew that he dips down on escapes.
