But Anderson silva is considered the best ever by most. Why? Did he beat better people than GSP? No, not even close.. But he had spectacular finishes.
There's something to be said for making your opponent unconscious versus winning a decision. Beating 5 people by submission and TKO is not the same as beating them by decision. The fighter with the TKOs and submissions clearly was more dominant than the fighter that got decisions.
Idk who you're talking about, but I'm assuming you're talking about me saying the same thing over and over? If conor loses I'm really gonna look like an idiot lol. But whatever I have my opinions and I'm sticking by them until the fight.
Edit:
I think his antics keep people from looking at him objectively. In MY opinion, he might be the best striker in the division and probably is. People wanna say he's a karate guy or taek guy, but he's not... He's a national champion boxer... All that flashy shit he does is just to set his hands up... I think he's the most unpredictable and creative striker in that division for sure, and this is why I bet $$$ on him...... So I'm not just talking, I actually put my hard earned cash on the leprechaun.
there were as many people that considered gsp better than anderson on the p4p list
not just a few MANY
he isn't nowhere near the best striker in the division, hell, even i could go to a preschool and spinning back a toddler
the quality of opponent matters

Agreed that his antics blind people on actually looking at him for what he is
his striking is on another level, who he has fought doesn't take that fact away
it's really not anything special, who he has fought does take that away
even you, a beginner, against the right person, can look as good as connor looks, it's about the opposition
if you fight a bunch of cans with no striking defense, you're going to look like an amazing striker
look at frank mir for fuck's sake, he knocked out bigfoot and everyone is toting him as a knockout artist now and how his striking is so underrated and this and that
