Connor took a page right out of Chael sonnens book. Ran his mouth a lot (backed it up more then Chael) made a spectacle out of it and got the title shot. Uncle Dana isn't going to pass up on that cash cow. He hops on board and rides that ass all the way to the bank. Can't blame Connor or Dana for this it's just one of the things I dislike about the ufc but it is what it is.

Will be entertaining no matter what.

its just a FACT that he didn't have any REAL contention bouts before aldo

theres a lot more to weight cuts than numbers, his cardio is fine because he's a good athlete, not only that but sivir wasn't even really a bout,

dana has literally cut connor's career by not giving him a chance to see what real top fighters are like, now he's being thrown in against the absolute best and after this he'll be nothing more than a gatekeeper



he matches up well with aldo in terms of striker vs striker, but it's not as if he's going to be immune to aldo like mvp seems to think

i think aldo's fast starts will startle connor and he'll eventually finish connor off maybe in 3 or 4, if connor's legs survive that long

assume he probably walks at 170 all the time rather than just after siver fight, seems like it'd be difficult to bulk up to 170 from 145 in a week if that wasn't your natural weight haha (given a lot was water weight ofc)
