It's not that Cyborg was bad. It's just that Spencer is so tough and Cyborg probably didn't expect her to eat all her shots like that and come forward.
Nunes hits like a truck yes, but I think the Nunes vs Cyborg fight is a little misleading. Nunes is extremely explosive, but only in the first round. Spencer won't get lured into an all-out slugfest like Cyborg and will just come forward with her hands up and clinch her like she did in the Cyborg fight. Striking while going backwards is hard on the gas tank and exactly what Nunes has problems with. The 51 seconds with Cyborg only showed 1 thing: she can knock a reckless fighter out early in the fight.
Watch the Nunes vs Zingano, it shows you what happens when someone pressures her and can weather the early storm.
/edit: watch the 3rd round of the first Nunes vs Shevchenko fight too. Her last 2 opponents were tactically poor and made her look more invincible than she is. Before that, Miesha was on her way out (lol at Miesha's last fight), little Valentina likes to play safe and Pennington came off a devastating leg injury.
I'll have to check it out. I havent seen this one. Though i had always wondered who some of Nunes losses were to. We know nobody is unbeatable. Although I think we all recognize how divided the women's divisions are in terms of fighters and skill level.
We all thought Cyborg was practically unbeatable, and I think we were a bit surprised at what Nunes did to her.
