Khabib would beat conor pretty easily imo, but I don’t think conor is afraid to fight khabib. I think he was going to enter the octagon and challenge khabib after the fight if he wasn’t dumb and threw a dolly through a window.

It’s pretty obvious that all of the people here who care too much about conor are scared of khabib tho

He decided to put an intermim strap just as part of marketing strategy and it seems to play well, he does that all the time now and super star now don't care about the belt, they are looking for the money fights more than anything else; conor, gsp, floyd mayweather are the top 3 in that new wave of fighters. conor still young tho, he could easily defended his belt at 145 few times at least a rematch with Aldo but now its too late. even at 155 Im not too sure conor can become the champ if he has to go through ferguson, max and khabib. Before the mayweahter fight, I would have enjoy it for sur if conor stayed there and defends.

He basically destroy the system but he was not the first one. I think it was initiated by Rousey who challenged first mayweather in a mma fight before conor takes over and decided to go in the boxing rules. Now GSP comebacks and got a direct MW title fight he shouldn't have it in the normal way but Dana offered him to pick his best fight if he returns and of course Bisping was the best matchup for a guy who hasn't fought since 4 years.

I understand you like to troll about it but seriously, you cannot defend if you fight the current champion. Aldo was the current champion and was coming back from an injury when he fought conor who Dana gave the strap to keep the division busy
